PROJECT APPLE TREE 2022
Registration for the 2022 School Supply Store will be open through May 23rd. Shoe Store registration will be open through July 14th.
This year, Helping Hands Ministry is teaming up with Belton ISD, Perry’s Office Plus, and First Blessing to give parents and caregivers the chance to purchase school supplies, shoes, and backpacks for their students at an affordable price!
who can participate in Project apple tree?
To be eligible for Project Apple Tree, a student must be:
attending Belton ISD, Academy ISD, or Holland ISD in the fall of 2022, and
be eligible for free or reduced lunch at school.
how Project apple tree works:
Registration for the School Supply Store begins Monday, May 2 and ends Monday, May 23.
Registration for the First Blessing Shoe Store begins Monday, May 2 and ends Thursday, July 14.
Registration is online. You are able to register for both Project Apple Tree events at one time.
Grade-level appropriate school supply packages are $5 per student. No family will be asked to pay more than $20 for school supplies.
Shoes and backpack packages are also $5 per student. No family will be asked to pay more than $20 for shoes and backpacks.
If a family chooses to purchase school supplies, shoes, and backpacks, they will not be asked to pay more than $40.

Where will my school supplies be delivered?
If your student is attending Pre-K or Elementary School in Belton ISD in the fall: Your student’s school supplies will be delivered directly to their school by Meet the Teacher night.
If your student is attending Middle School or High School in Belton ISD, or is attending school in Academy or Holland ISD: Your student’s school supplies will be available for pick up at Helping Hands Ministry in August. Dates will be determined at a later time.
Where will I PICK UP MY SHOES AND BACKPACKS?
The First Blessing Shoe Store will be on August 13, 2022.
Students will receive a pair of shoes and socks and a backpack.
what if i do not have internet access or cannot register for project apple tree online?
You can register for school supplies in the Meharg Resource Center at Helping Hands Ministry between Monday, May 2 and Monday, May 23rd. The MRC is available for use between 10 am - 4 pm, Monday - Thursday. Payment is due at the time of registration.
what if i cannot afford to register for Project apple tree?
