How Does This Work?
The entrance to the Neighborhood Food Pantry is at the back of the building, through the green door. You can park in the back parking lot or in one of the parking spots along the side of the building.
Come inside to the check-in desk.
Please Note:
Do not arrive prior to Neighborhood Food Pantry hours. There is no need to arrive early as food choices are available and restocked throughout the day. There is no line-holding or saving spots allowed.
To avoid large crowds, we suggest you come on Mondays, 2:00-6:00 and Wednesday-Thursday 11:30-4:00.
Please bring your own bags to the Neighborhood Food Pantry. If you don’t have bags, don’t worry- we’ll have you covered!
If you need any additional services while you’re visiting the Neighborhood Food Pantry, feel free to stop by the front desk while you are here.
If you walk or ride the bus to the Neighborhood Food Pantry, you are welcome! We cannot assist with transporting your groceries back home, so please bring bags or a cart that you can use to take your groceries home.

The amount and type of food varies depending on availability, but each week you can usually receive a combination of produce, bread, meat, dairy, non-perishable groceries, personal hygiene products, and household items (like laundry detergent or dish soap).
Can I send someone to the Neighborhood Food Pantry to get my groceries?
Yes! You may send an authorized pick-up person to come to the pantry in your place. We must have your written permission to add a pick-up person to your account.
Can I get groceries delivered to my home, instead of coming to the Neighborhood Food Pantry?
Home deliveries are available for homebound individuals (usually seniors and individuals with medical conditions that prevent them from visiting the Neighborhood Food Pantry) who live within 3 miles of Helping Hands Ministry. To apply for home delivery, please call 254-939-7355.
We know that getting to the food pantry can sometimes be hard because of transportation, childcare, job hours, and other circumstances. If you are experiencing difficulty getting food for your household during our normal operating hours, please call 254-939-7355.
